Every year, the No Dog Left Behind Rescue Calendar Contest is made possible by generous local businesses that believe in giving back to their community. This year's contest wouldn't be the same without them, and I'm excited to introduce each of the incredible businesses that have donated prizes to help support the rescue's mission.

This spotlight is all about Unleashed Hounds and Hops, Minnesota's first indoor and outdoor dog park, bar, and eatery.

A Place Where Dogs and Their People Can Unwind Together

Unleashed Hounds and Hops was created with one simple idea: give dogs a safe place to play while their people relax, connect, and have fun.

No matter the weather, their monitored, temperature-controlled indoor and outdoor dog parks give pups the opportunity to run, play, and socialize year-round. Whether it's the middle of a Minnesota snowstorm or a hot summer afternoon, your dog can still burn off energy in a safe environment.

While the dogs are busy making new friends, the humans can enjoy a thoughtfully curated selection of local craft beers, ciders, wines, hard seltzers, non-alcoholic beverages, and delicious food. It's a fun, welcoming place built around bringing together people who share one thing in common: a love for dogs.

I've had the pleasure of working with Unleashed Hounds and Hops at several events, and every experience has been fantastic. The owners are genuinely wonderful people who care deeply about creating a welcoming space for both dogs and their humans. Their staff is always friendly, attentive, and happy to help, which makes every visit even better.

Franny absolutely loves visiting Unleashed. The moment we walk through the doors, she's ready to play, explore, and make new friends. It's one of those places where both dogs and their people can have a great time together.

I'm especially excited to be back this fall for LollaPAWlooza on Saturday, October 3, where I'll be offering fall pet photos alongside an incredible lineup of local pet businesses, rescues, and vendors. If you've never been to this event before, it's a wonderful opportunity to shop local, meet fellow dog lovers, and spend an afternoon with your pup. I hope to see you there!
